I was thinking of rebranding LSSOC to Squad Kereta Jahat Se-Malaysia due to few reasons. One of them is to get more members join in and establish a club with rarest and meanest Japanese machines in here. Other Galant versions are welcome to join da club and given special entry permit while the rest must be rare, mean and muscular.

So Syuk will continue to monitor club activities and at the same time is promoted to de facto leader. Encik Ayob pun naik pangkat as the club president cum technical director. Mie Sapporo who took helm as ketua pemuda Lambda & Sappooro will make way to Otai Utara aka Bro Lambdaspin as new ketua pemuda. And me...! continue sebagai part timer tukang canang dan tukang karut.

2nd December 2009, this coming Wednesday nite, it will be a small Lambda gathering at Shell/Petronas MRRII Hiway, going to UIA side. This means another two days from now. The aturcara is lepak lepak and selection of good Lambdas for shooting. Could be local ads or filem. One gentleman will soon be briefing us in details. So be there at 9.00 malam.

How it begins? Kereta Jahat or Mean Car... Flash back to the time when I was about to buy that Lambda. I knew nothing about oldskool, retro cars, classics etc... But what i admire of tis car is because of its mean look. Nampak jahat dan macho. Only after I brought it back home I learn and study. Study main main from the net until found CCCM. Then to another forums Retrosyndicate then Oldskool.org then Kelab Kereta Lama and finally my own forum www.playhousegarage.net

Let's back to the title. Kereta Jahat finally belong to this species; Galant Lambda. Not sure about other cars if they are also mean looking. Tak kisah la sapa yg jahat janji tak tipu duit rakyat.

PlayHouse Garage ditubuhkan tanpa aku rancang. Bermula dengan ym suatu malam tu dengan jario dan tis. Chatting punya chatting sampai terkeluar tajuk 'que nak bikin kereta oldskool'... maka terkeluarlah idea berbaloi tak kalau kita bukak worksyop sendiri bikin kereta sendiri!

Mulanya aku ingat benda ni sampai setakat tu saja la... biasala kebanyakan orang yang aku jumpa main teori saja... Tak sangka pulak semua memang betul betul mau buat... buka cobaan semata mata. Nanti aku nak ingat balik sejarah penubuhan PlayHouse ni.... akan aku buat cerita di lain eposode.

PlayHouse line up terdiri dari jario, megat, tis dan aku sendiri. Kita tubuhkan PH untuk menyelamatkan kereta kereta lama di Malaysia. Ya la... bukan semua orang mengerti kereta lama, oldskool, retro etc etc... Kebanyakan cuma beranggapan cuma buat semak laman rumah.....

We have Jazman, Chin, Bryan, Yusof, Abang Mahzan with their Starions. Our brand new member, Farid, has just emailed me Starion pictures of him. Very good machine and well preserved. It's an introduction from him to all of us.

Hi! To all LSSOC members....

Here's my lady.... I call her Silvia (for obvious reasons). It's a 1983 Mitsubishi GSR-X, automatic transmission (but it carries the MMC logo rather the tri-diamonds). My father bought the car second hand back in 1984 or '85 (I cannot recall) and its been passed down to me. I am slowly trying to restore it to its formar glory as much as possible, budget prmits. It is still powered by the original spec engines, however the one it has now is not the original engine. The swop was done early 2008, we were lucky I suppose as it took some searhing but my machanic found a half-cut in Bentong and it had the same spec engine and auto transmission too (must be the last engine of its sort in M'sia), at around the same time I changed the seat covers too.

There is a Challenger among Lambdas

One of the reasons why I keep writing down here is because I'm so into this oldskool scene. I love retro cars so much now. There will be inquiries in my inbox from time to time regard to Lambda or oldskool... and I just can't stop answering and posting anything related to the models.

Beside Ben, here is another great Lambda from Philippines. I believe this car used to have something those belong to the second gen Challengers which were very popular in the States thirty years ago. When I first time saw the bumper, I thought it's from some other maker. Now we've got an answer already.

Right here in Malaysia (or may be in Philippines too), Vin's Lambda bumper is super rare. However, over there in the States, Challenger enthusiasts are looking at what we've got here. Try your luck to trade with them.

So guys, let's have a look at Vin's very well preserved Lambda. Maraming salamat po! Thanks for sharing what you have with us.

Sejarah Dodge Challanger dan Mitsubishi Lambda

Generasi pertama Dodge Challenger mula di pasarkan di Amerika sekitar awal 1970an. Lebih tepat lagi pada tahun 1974. Pengeluarnnya berlaku pada jangka masa empat tahun sahaja sebelum diberhentikan dan disambung oleh generasi kedua. Generasi pertama dihasilkan untuk menyaingi Mustang Shelby/Fastback dan juga Chevvy Camaro terutamanya ketika itu. Dodge Challenger menjadi model paling diminati diantara model model lain.

Dodge Challenger generasi kedua dikeluarkan pada tahun 1978. Model ini adalah forgotten hero sebenarnya oleh peminat peminat Mopar. Dibina sepenuhnya oleh Mitsubishi dan 'rebagde' dengan nama Dodge, Plymouth ataupun Chrysler untuk pasaran tempatan di sana. Antara sebabnya Mitsubishi ingin melebarkan jualan kereta di Amerika dan turut bersaing dengan NIssan dan Toyota yang lebih awal bertapak di sana.

Pada 1973, krisis minyak berlaku dan Chyrsler pada ketika itu terpaksa mencari alternative kereta yang berkapasiti sederhana dan 'fuel efficient' untuk depasarkan dan memastikan penjualan dari jenama mereka berterusan. Mereka mendapati Mitsubishi dari serie empat cylinder ini adalah line-up terbaik untuk dipasarkan di rangkaian jualan mereka. Kesempatan terbaik itu diambil oleh Mitsubishi untuk memasarkan series Lambda di atas nama yang sudah gah iaitu Dodge Challenger.

Series Galant Lambda, Sapporo, Scorpion, Colt, Challenger dan lain lain lagi memang mempunyai kaitan. Tak sangka pulak kereta jahat yang aku beli dulu tu ada sejarah menarik. Memang aku minat jenis muscle car ni. Rupanya Lambda aku memang ada dna muscle sebenarnya. Go Lambda.. Go kereta Jahat..!

First appearance after engine transformation. Still more works to continue especially cosmetic on the interior and exterior... the rims as well.

Now I really need opinions how to tidy up the engine. Please say somethin' guys. The idea is to get the two engine heads exposed by removing the intake manifold. It could be something like this!

Mitsubishi Lambda: V6-ing My Kereta Jahat

Part I: V6ing the Lambda

The process to V6 my Lambda is undergoing. Theoretically is simple as matching an FTO V6 engine to a RWD gear box. Yea, pretty simple I believed at the beginning. Here's the engine for the experiment.

Particular attention is given on parts linking the engine to the gear box. Original flywheel, cutch system and housing are to be replaced in order to match all things up. Look at the seven screw holes and its screw pattern. This set up is actually match to EVO flywheel. Beside, its size and weight should well sufficient to deliver good momentum to drive the car at any instants.

Here's the flywheel that has perfect match to the system; after I made a machine cut to fit onto the crank chaft surface.

Once you finish with that, then fix them temporarily and see what else should be taken into place. Luckily, my friend Yop reminded me to also fix the shaft bearing. Thus another machining will have to be done afterwards.

However, you will not be able to use the clutch plate from EVO. Instead, I used one from GSR. Both two are similar on many ways but the GSR has perfect match to the gearbox shaft.

Once you have all these ready the next step to build new mounting on the bell housing is all set. I will explain later.

This is another kereta jahat in the making. It's the latest member of LSSOC. I received some pictures few days back from Burn also known as Syed Bakar, who drives one of a kind machine in his hometown. The1977, 1.6 Lambda is being restored into its superb condition himself recently. 26 year old Burn bought the machine from its previous owner in its original white colour in 2006. Aku pun beli kereta jahat aku dalam tahun yang sama gak. It's good to see the machine have fallen onto the right person's hand.

Below is the outlook transformation done by Burn. His next stage will be the new engine transplant. Macam aku dulu la... fikiran diracuni untuk proses ini.. In the mean time Burn is transforming the interior to a better look, comfy and mengancam. Baru la awek jeling jeling.

Hopefully Burn can also join our next gathering. By the time the members are ready with thier kereta jahat then it's time for us to see each other again. Currently at LSSOC, Syuk is having his Lambda new RB25 fixed in. Mahzan is busy with RB20R32 in his Starion. Tok ketua kita, Jazman masih dalam pembikinan turbo baru. Aku lak sedang memV6kan Lambda aku kat Selayang. Harap harap siap secepat mungkin. Yop bz dengan projek sampingan, tak tau la Sapporo dia dah ok ke belum. Squad yang lain dengan secret project masing masing.

Back to Burn's project, nindia hasil kerjanya... Merah saga menjadi pilihan hati... Garang colour ni..

Styling Part I

Cosmetic Modification

Styling is subjective and universal. People can talk about styling on their own perspective depending how they were thought about. My defination of car styling based on what I've seen people modified their cars around me. There's no rule I would say.

This is cosmetic styling! Blink blink colour is one of the characterictis. Besides, it could also has lower lips front and rear side, side skirts, spoilers stickers etc. This modification basically involve on the car outlook appearance. Modification made doesn't take car performance and originality into account. Hence you can see lot's of serba mak nenek pasted onto the cars.

Lips, skirts, rim, stickers and colours are the main criteria of cosmetic styling

What a waste!

Nothing special but attractive and heavy.

Example of good styling on the outside

Bumber guard

What about these?
- Colourful neon light under floor
- Fancy exhaust c/w red light aka api
- Sticker chacha merba on the fender, wind screen etc
- Decorative door handle, fuel cap
- Shark fins on the roof (if realy working out doesn't matter)
- Decoration on the tail light, head light, signat etc
- Unfinish trim on skirting
- anti static strip

Cosmetic styling can be good and makes cars stand out if it considers the purpose, originality to a certain extend and minimizes useless accessories into account. You can see lots of good quality styling around. The cars above are good examples. However lots of them merapu. I also merapu kengkadang and it's up to you. Kira apa orang nak kata.

What about bad example? Mmmmmm I could say.... an itik is always an itik and it can't a kucing siam. So if it's a proton, don't rename it as a mitsubishi. Yea you got it!

Semalam harga minyak naik lagi.. Maka tiada alasan lain yg dapat diberi dek si roplah badawee ni selain dari

1. "kita tak dapat puaskan hati semua pihak"
2. Harga minyak di negara kita adalah yang terendah di rantau ini
3. Kerajaan terpaksa menanggung kerugian subsidi minyak dan kenaikan tidak dapat dielakkan lagi.

Aku dah menyampah, meluat dengan mamat roplah ni. Tak habis habis cari pasal menyusahkan rakyat. Rakyat memilih kerajaan untuk menguruskan permasalahan rakyat. Tetapi sebaliknya terjadi.
si mamat roplah terus menindas merampas hak kita. Cilaka lah engkau roplah badawee. Bayar la nanti kat padang!

Malaysia adalah pengimport dan juga pengeksport minyak. Minyak dari luar diimport dan diproses dan dipasarkan. Minyak kita yang berkualiti pula dieksport. Ni semua orang tahu. Jadi tak payah aku ceritakan lagi. Walau bagaimana pun kita sebenarnya adalah net exporter. Secara logiknya subsidi is out of the subject la! Masalah ni tak sepatutnya timbul. Kita awal awal lagi dah buat duit dari hasil eksport minyak.

Rakyat digembar gembur dengan masalah harga minyak dipasaran serta kerajaan rugi atas alasan ini. Tak akademik. Nak jadi penipu pun berpada pada laa. Sekiranya rugi sekalipun, kerajaan masih buat duit dari sumber sumber lain. Tol kaw kat nye naik, income tax pun disebat jugak, duit petronas yang tidak di declare, cukai segala pintu dok ada... Takkan tu tak pun puas lagi?

Memang benar si roplah tu kata " kita tak dapat puaskan hati semua pihak" tapi yang terinaya balik balik adalah rakyat. Apa salahnya subsidi (yg sepatutnya tak ada) ditampung oleh kerajaan atau petronas sebagai contoh? Jika anda seorang COE company yang bijak sana sini, anda tentu arif benar defisit dari satu sumber masih boleh di cover dari sumber lain. Ni tidak, balik balik alasan lapuk. Poodahh!

Kerajaan adalah wakil dari rakyat yang maha patutnya menjaga rakyat. Sia sia saja undi anda hari tu. Pertolongan Mawi mungkin diperlukan mungkin. " Belia benci PakLah!"

Barbalik ke topik asal Kereta Jahat. Jika kereta jahat yang tua itu sudah tak berbaloi lagi, tidak efektif, makan minyak, bagi masalah, maka layaklah kereta tua anda itu dijual timbang kati. Atau dengan kata lain discrapkan saja.

Moral of the story.. scrapkan saja si roplah badawee itu. Dia tak berguna. Ropah badawee adalah beban kita, beban rakyat.

This Starion is owned by Mr Mahzan whom recently become the latest member of LSSOC. It's a 1984 powered by 4G63 2.0 L14 Turbo engine. Well, details on the machine will be here very soon. Dah larut malam beb.

Auto Stylo is Auto Stylo

Hi guys!

It's been a while to feed with new input to this blog. I was away for two weeks and have just returned last nite..

Let's start with the idea of v6-ed my ride. I have only one option and I don't see any other suitable engine but 6A12. I've searched everywhere and all I had to face was to return to normally what people do; implant SR, RB or 1J. That's the short cut to avhieve more horse on their machines. But I'm not into that for my lambda. The worst I'll have to do is to put on VR4 or any other mitsubishi engine so I can preserve the originality. A few friends have done and successed with that transformation. All it needs is your big money and tidious process.

Back to the V6 idea... I'd like my machine to look like this rather than a straight inline cylinders.

My search finally ends when I found a 6A12 of FTO in a Galant Kuda owned by a mitsubishi otai.. Good new for me to see that and to get the idea and tips from him. I tested his machine
which happened to be very smooth in a RWD auto transmission. That's superb.

It even better when he offered me the entire engine and components to fit into my kereta jahat at a pretty good bargain... wah law weh.. All I need is to get the manual gearbox.
That's also solved when Yop Sapporo would like to swap his with my lovely deep dish rims.

More horse is not my priority by the way... As the blog title says...
AutoStylo.... styles are all about I need. With all arrangement in place,
I reckon this transformation would be executed very soon.

Another meet up again.. It was held at kedai mamak at Gombak area. Few other members were in the haus. They are Saiful, Malik, Syuk, Joe, Kumar, Chin, Yeop, aku, Abe Jalie, Starion Ganaz and their family members. Supposedly two starions would be in, unfortunately only one was brought to display. The other one still got fever. Saiful didn't bring his Sapporo as this kereta jahat is undergoing body painting in Shah Alam. My lambda macam biasa la.. belum ada perubahan ketara. Syuk just drove his other Galant Kuda as the Ranggi Orange is in the process of naik taraf. So that Ranggi Orange was not in for display as well.

This meeting however had more member than cars. I'm very proud with the support given by the members. Lain lain belakang kira, janji datang.

It has been a while I didn't come out with some write up as
I'm now concentrating on KuasaKuda matters. Please calm down and keep your

This afternoon I received an e mail from a Lambda fan from Baguio City, Philippines. It's Ben!

Of course he has been monitoring LSSOC activities from remote. He attached together his Lambda original condition. Isn't it great guys? You can approach Ben via his email. Feel free to browse this blog to get his contact.

Sellecting wheel for your car can be very enjoying. Wide range of wheel designs are available in the market. You can choose new or used rims for your machine. Normal people especially private car owners will go to the wheel shops to get ones for their cars. Normally this shops sell just ordinary wheels with good look at affordable price.

There are other groups of car lovers would go for half cut shop to get special ones for their machines. Why they go for used items? The answer is that they can get quality wheels at very good price. What I mean with quality is that; these wheels normally has the brands, weights, rare sizes, uniqeness, 2-piece, 3-piece etc..
Bak kata pepatah hanya jauhari yang mengenal maniam la senang cerita!

Depending on the concept you choose, you can sellect the right wheel to fit into your car concepts. Kereta jahat would need some additional DNA jahat. One of the caracteristic is the deep dish design.

Kereta Jahat Lagi: The Return of the Lambda

Three years ago..... who wants a car like this?

This piece of metal junk was found by one of the LSSOC club member three years ago. Nothing he could say about this machine but to rescue and give him a new life. The first
thing he did was to restore on the outside so the feeling to 'bikin' later will be there and he could continue slowly and surely. Kalau nak tengok pun tak mau then may be hangat2 taik ayam je la gamaknya nanti. So, Syukri took initiative to restore its exterior at his friend's workshop. They teamed up and finally the bodywork finished and ready to take place.

Syukri then did the body spray himself. Red hot colour was painted with an air brush impression on the engine hood. The transformation is taking into place. Bersabar.... he has to wait three years to complete its restoration.

First stage complete!

The colour was next changed to orange.

The rescue wouldn't be complete without a new mean heart. Syukri has decided to transplant RB 26 engine to replace the original one. One disadvantage about Mitsubishi is that they don't have good choices of RWD engine. One has to rojak the gearbox and engine if really wants to maintain
Mitsubishi originality.

Second stage: New powerful heart

When the second stage completed, this car was ready to drift act give some action. Gempag gila! Then it was featured in the Putera Racing megazine. Nevertheless it's not end there. The restoration continues....

Next stage was to restore the interior again. Syukri decided to replace the upholdstries and to sedondon the look.


Next step.... get all yellow-wrapped including the dashboard!

Nampaknya aku kekurangan bahan for the recent post. Tapi jangan bimbang, technical aspects masih di peringkat draft. Gambar gambar masih belum cukup untuk itu. Nanti aku post bila dah ok dikarang.

Overhaulin' Kereta Jahat: Wheather Seal & Dashboard

Ya betul... memang susah nak cari replacement untuk wheather seal untuk kereta kereta tua dan kereta kereta model ortodox. Kalau di ebay, rare spare, etc pun memang
agak payah nak dapat. Kalau dapat pun delivery mungkin menjadi satu masalah juga. Jadi apa yang perlu anda buat? Senang saja jadilah seseorang yang creative. Beli yang universal dan buat uji kaji sendiri.

Kereta jahat aku ni memang jenuh la nak cari spare. Last last aku jumpa universal door seal/door trim yang dijual ikut panjang ynag diperlukan. Kat KL aku tak jumpa lagi mana dapat nak benda ni . Kat Alor Setar adaaa.... Kalau mau cari barang lama pun ada... mai jangan tak mai. Ada di jual di dua bijik kedai barang kereta ortodox kat area stesen keretapi Alor Setar/ panggung wayang lama yang jual rare spares.

Potong betul betul...

Nindia... dua contoh yang aku beli. Terdapat beberapa jenis rubber seal yang boleh didapati di pasaran untuk dipadankan dengan pelbagai jenis bentuk kereta. Untuk model Lambda jahat ni, aku guna dua jenis yang macam dalam gambar.. Hasilnya memang neat and tidy la wa cakap lu.... Lebih baik dari yang asalnya. Masa aku beli harganya tak lebih RM2.00 sekaki. Berani... Cuba la!

Dashboard
Memang la... kalau dah tua bangka memang banyak barang dah jadi kerepot. Dashboard aku tidak terkecuali. Layer atas dah keras and pecah pacah. Memang nampak jahat dah uduh gila dashboard tu. Jawabnya, aku balut sendiri. Walau bagaimanapun kesabaran yang tinggi diperlukan untuk kerja kerja ini.
Cantik gak kerja tangan aku ni. Tapi kat bahagian ujung ujung agak payah nak dapat finishing yang cun. Lipatan pvc ternampak juga nampak gayanya. Tapi terselindung di celah pintu.

Apa macam...?

Nasihat dari aku! Selapas balut, sila cepat cepat pasang balik jangan dok simpan tang mana mana. Hampa tau? Payah payah aku balut selama ni, last last kena cakag dek kucin jahat orang sebelah. Chisssssss....

Muscle Car vs Kereta Jahat

One of my most admired muscle car is the 69 Cuda. It's mean, ugly, big, muscular and kejahatannya ditahap tertinggi. The one below isn't modified and looks as simple as it is. Try to find out on the internet what's a simple parts replacement
can turn it into a monster machine. A car like this doesn't need big rim to stand out. It however needs wide and high profile tyres as muscles to show off.

mmmm... what about this? The Roadrunner..

Kalau kena gayanya jika dimake-up... Celica ini bisa mengganaz seperti Roadrunner. Tp jangan make-up ahbeng dah le... Cuman saiznya yang kurang lebar sahaja....

If you're gotta find out the others with beautiful waist and got nice ass, it could be this 74 Cortina. It's a 2.0 engine equipped machine. According the my colleague, who's going to sell this car those days... it supposed to fit is Cosworth perfectly. This car is wide and muscular as well. It really thirsty. Minyak mengalir seperti air kencing... Here's some shots taken on October 2006.

Yang lain... masih cun. Engine is good, a/c working, all original condition and has nice interior. If you're lucky, find it out at Bengkel Awe at Surada, Kajang. The workshop is just before Abim. And if you're looking for Volvo specialist and good parts price, find out Awe. He's an x-Volvo specialist.

Kalau nak dihitung mungkin tak berapa banyak la lagi model model kereta yang layak dikategorikan sebagai kereta jahat di Malaysia. Model model RWD generasi baru diketepikan dulu la.... jadi apa yg tinggal? Salah satunye Celica. Ni ha aku jumpa kat internet sebijik celica dr Malaysia. Ownernya Hidayat namanya.... Dan jika hampa mau tau detail tentang Celica Classics, try cari www.my-celica-classic.org. Tempat membeli belah dan infotrade forum.

Satu lagi model adalah Cortina 1974. Binatang ni tak le nampak jahat sangat. Mukanya agak sebek.. Dulu aku nyaris nyaris tangkap yang di. Taktau la kalau masih ada lagi kat Surada kat bengkel Awe..... c/w nice plate number 108. Yang kurangnya model ni ada empat pintu. yang lain ok. Body masih cun. Yang kunin tu Escort dua pintu... Mungkin untuk di buat tukun. Sapa mau beli
pi cari kat Surada kat Abim.

Satu lagi yang jarang ditemui... Skyline kurun ke berapa ntah.. Aku belum siasat betul betul.

LSSOC - Mitsubishi Starion

During the first LSSOC gathering, there the only Starion appeared amongst the uglies. This starion was brought by the owner from Penang. I personally took few shots and here you are.... Unfortunately details on the engine is unavailable
yet. I'll update as soon as I got all of those. According to the owner, there are few other starions. He couldn't contact the rest to join the gathering. Hopefully next time they'd join our activities

Kejahatan starion bukanlah pada bentuknya yang seksi, tapi terletak pada sport rimnya... Wah law... Look at the rear tyre. It's a 265 series and still tak cukup ahh. Dengar kata kalajuannya sepantas buraq. Tak tercapai akalku..... Walaupun tayar belakang meletup on the way to the gathereing, namun kereta jahat ini tak patah semangat. Pecah tayar bertongkat rim besi... Sampai jugak akhirnya.

The cockpit is clean and neat. Macam naik Air Asia pulak rasanya.

Ni ha enjin... Aku kagum dengan model ini mantap dan menggoda setiap mata yang memandang. Jika dibandingkan dengan Sapporo atau Lambda, model ini sememangnya tidak ortodok mana. Model yang dikeluarkan sepanjang 1982-1989 ini telah dipasarkan atas beberapa nama seperti Chrysler Conquest, Dodge Conquest, Mitsubishi Colt Starion, Plymouth Conquest.

Overhaulin' Kereta Jahat - Bodywork and Painting

I'm still waiting enough info and photos from the other LSSOC members to featuring their mean machines in this blog. If you guys are reading this, please send me details of yours. A lot of people is waiting to study your modification. In the mean times, here's my modification to date to my Kereta Jahat.

I bought this piece of metal back in 2006... end of 2006 if not mistaken. This car was from Banting and belong to seorang Pak Haji lah..... Physically it was very good. Engine, a/c, wiper etc are functioning well. Speed reached 110mph on Kesas Hiway that time.... wah lau weh... but bit shaking during cornering somehow. Body painting was good but I've decided to send it to bodywork shop to have a look.

Original condition.... 2006

Wah lau...

I sent this car back to Banting to a recommended bodywork shop. The shop is owned by Mr Abdullah Darini. Nice guy..... and deliver things as promissed.

When stripped off I could see severe corrosion on the chasis. Most could be found around front
and rear windscreen. Abdullah has replaced rusted metals with the new one. The artwork is ok la. Look at the picture below. You can spot patched areas coated in brown.

Next step, I had to look for a great painter.... and also with a reasonable price. Finally, by recommendation, I reached a paint shop in Bangi. If you are coming from Uniten hailing to Sg Merab, the shop is on your right (atas bukit) near a U-Turn. Pandai pandai la cari... agat tersorok. The shop is running by Encik Yus...
and I still dunt know his full name. Beside him is Zaki.... runing the shop together.
Yus is a perfectionist. He did it himself and could redo again and again. My Sapporo for example, has undergone several plaster-primer-plaster-primer-plaster..... waaaaa manyak lama lor... Thus it took sometimes to finish the body paint but superb result.

However, that's not the colour I preferred. It should be red dunhill. Nevertheless, it comes out...

Lambda Sapporo Starion

LSSOC is a mean machine car club founded on by otai otai of rare car species in December 2007. The word LSSOC means Lambda Sapporo and Starion Owners' Club. In the beginning about eight Lambdas could be found around Klang Valley. The rest could hardly be seen nationwide.

One good afternoon one of the club founder hanging around in Melawati area. Suddenly he found one of his species he kept. Syukri, the owner was there. They chatted and exchanged numbers. One fine morning the first gathering under the label LSSOC was done under their initiative.

The idea to combine all three generation came from Syuk since all of those were
produced during the same 70's and early 80's era. Besides, it would be hard to gather enough membership if they are to choose a single model to form the club.

The hard time ended when their first club biography appeared in Kereta and Putera Racing magazine. More members are coming in, more information is excghanged and various modification can be
found.

Membership is offered to those LSS model owners. Applicants from the other models but with the same DNA is considerable as well.

Kereta Jahat Part II - Evolusi Galant

Pada tahun 1976, generasi ketiga Galant (Sigma) adalah coupe version, iaitu kereta jahat aku la; Mitsubishi Galant Lambda. Dua tahun kemudian model dah populer di Eropah dan dikenali dengan Mitsubishi Sapporo. Di England pula mat saleh di sana memanggil Colt Sapporo.

Chrysler yang memiliki share Mitsubishi pada masa tu menjual model model ini sebagai Dodge Challenger dan Plymouth Sapporo. Mamat Australia pula menggelar Si Tua ini Chrysler Scorpion kemudiannya Mitsubishi Scorpion.

Model model selepas 1981 dikenali dengan nama Galant Sigma atau Sapporo Type II. Kemudian, model empat pintu dilancarkan. Maka lama kelamaan menjelmalah Galant seperti yg ada sekarang ini.

Jika di negara US term Muscle Car memang menggila. Tak kira tua, muda, jantan, pondan, etc memang menggilai muscle car. Di Malaysia kalau aku nak menggelar muscle car rasa macam poyo je... Mana nak cari kereta berCC besar. Yang 3.0 pun susah kecuali utk jentera lain. Oleh yang demikian aku panggil saja Kereta Jahat. Walaupun CCnya kicik namun model ini mewarisi DNA muscle car dari Plymouth.

Kejahatan sesebuah kereta bukanlah terletak pada bentuknya semata mata. Kereta jahat pada aku haruslah RWD. Real car rear driven bebb... Selain itu rim mangkuk yg lebar di belakang juga adalah aksessori
Si Jahat ini. Waduh waduh.... susah jugak tulis blog ini ya... Nanti aku karang pula ciri ciri kereta jahat
dengan lebih terperinci.

Aku sekarang sedang mencari gearbox sesuai untuk dipadankan dengan V6 twin turbo. Kurang berminat ngan 4G63 atau engine dari jenama kereta yg lain. Walau bagaimanapun research aku belum punya keputusan muktamat lagi.

Aku beli kereta jahat ni atas beberapa sebab. Ya laaa... sebab nampak jahat secara fizikalnya. Keduanya sebab binatang ni adalah jentera RWD yang menjadi kegilaan mamat mamat drift masa kini. Selain itu dengan statusnya yg tua bangka seusia 30 tahun dan mempunyai sejarah sebagai kereta sport atau coupe di zamannya.

Walaupun dah tua bangka, binatang ini masih gagah perkasa lor... Kalau di internet, model ini dikenali sebagai Mitsubishi Sapporo. Namun di Malaysia ada
yang panggil Lambda. Aku tau binatang ini tidak disukai cewek cewek kerana bentuknya yang
agak ortodok. Tapi yang penting aku suka binatang jahat ini...

Model jahat ini dikeluarkan pada tahun 1978 dengan nama rasmi di atas geran; Mitsubishi Galant GSR 2000 Coupe. Di US ia dipasarkan dengan jenapa Plymouth Sapporo, Chrysler
Sapporo atau ntah apa apa lagi Sapporo la...
